Science UpdateFirst Grade
October 31 – November 4, 2011
This week in science class the students will focus on the topic of Sound. The First Grade Science book does not have information on sound so the assignments will be completed in class. The students were given a Chapter 6 Take home test to be completed over the weekend. Monday the class will work in the school garden planting seeds. Tuesday the class will begin the topic of sound energy. Thursday the class will discuss how sound changes and the highness and lowness of sound is called pitch. Friday the class will send sound waves through a solid, liquid and a gas.
