Science Update
First Grade
February 20-24, 2012
This week in science class the students will begin to study Chapter 1, What is a Tree. Monday the class will read and discuss information from their science book. Tuesday the class will study a tree from campus named a Kumquat tree and record observations in their information in their Tree Journals.
Parent request
Please send an apple with your child for a lesson that begins on Thursday. The lesson is on the number of seeds in different apples. The students will count the seeds in the different apples (green, red, mackintosh, yellow) and look for any patterns in size or colors.
